The house

My wife and I got sick of California so we began looking around at houses near my hometown in Harrison arkansas. We found several we liked but none that really got our attention till one day Ana started sending me links to a house she found on her lunch break. It was a foreclosure and the bank was asking $13,000.00. It was a 3 bedroom one bath on an acre of land. But it hadn't been lived in for a year and the prior owner kept the land with the water meter. I was told I would need to have a well dug for around $9000 to $17000. Sadly enough that wasn't in the budget. So I decided an in ground 10,000 gallon water tank would be cheaper till I could come up with something better. I offered $5000 to start the haggling process and the bank accepted in less than 24 hours! That got me worried but the realtor assured me the house was only 20 years old and solidand all it needed was a good cleaning and paint. So we closed on it and packed everything into shipping containers and drove to our new home. Then the battle began.
